Professional, public service, and applied fields challenge students to translate knowledge into action and consider how their work can support individuals, organizations, and communities. UConn courses offered through UConn ECE span areas such as business, education, human development, pharmacy, and public health. Across these disciplines, students strengthen communication, decision-making, ethical reasoning, and applied problem-solving skills while exploring pathways for future study and careers.
To help students explore UConn courses offered through UConn ECE, academic disciplines are organized into the same six broad categories used for UConn ECE Student Scholarships. These groupings highlight connections among fields and make it easier for students to discover courses aligned with their interests, goals, and potential areas of future study. Students interested in applying for a scholarship should review the full eligibility and application requirements.
