Excellence in Agriculture, Health, or Natural Resources
Explore UConn courses focused on human health, living systems, environmental stewardship, and the sustainable use of agricultural and natural resources.
Quick Links
Agriculture, health, and natural resource fields explore the interconnected systems that support people, communities, other living organisms, and the environment. UConn courses offered through UConn ECE span areas such as allied health, animal and plant science, environmental science, kinesiology, nutrition, and resource economics. Across these disciplines, students develop scientific understanding, evidence-based reasoning, and applied problem-solving skills while considering how informed decisions can advance health, sustainability, and responsible resource use.
To help students explore UConn courses offered through UConn ECE, academic disciplines are organized into the same six broad categories used for UConn ECE Student Scholarships. These groupings highlight connections among fields and make it easier for students to discover courses aligned with their interests, goals, and potential areas of future study. Students interested in applying for a scholarship should review the full eligibility and application requirements.
