WHAT IS UCONN ECE?

UConn Early College Experience (ECE) lets you earn real UConn credits while you’re still in high school. You’ll take UConn courses taught right at your school by certified instructors — the same rigorous curriculum, just in a familiar classroom. Get a head start on your college journey with UConn Early College Experience (UConn ECE). Through UConn ECE, eligible high school students can take authentic UConn courses taught at their own high school by certified UConn ECE Instructors, earning both high school and UConn credit upon successful completion.

Participating in UConn ECE allows you to experience the rigor and expectations of college-level coursework while learning in a familiar environment with classmates and teachers you already know. It’s an opportunity to challenge yourself academically, strengthen your college readiness, and begin building an official UConn transcript before graduating from high school.
